After prayer, make reading the WORD: 2 Kings 8
And she said to her husband: I have observed that this one who always passes by us is a holy man of God.
In chapter 4:8-37 we see the account of the history of this woman who now is a continuation
in chapter 8. It is likely that the seven years of famine occurred before contracting leprosy of
Gehazi (5:27). It would give the impression that his leprosy was not necessary to be separated
in isolation (v.4-5). We can see here the providence of God. He did not arrive early or late,
always arrives just in time. When it seems that IT is not possible then it presents the perfect
solution. The Shunammite had returned after obeying the man of God and have gone out of
their land and now cried to the king by his house and lands. As nothing is by chance in life
especially one that belongs to the Lord. The king had asked Gehazi to tell the deeds of Elisha.
Just when he recounted the story of the resurrection of the son of Shunammite she gets to
speak with the king. Elisha then tells the king that this was the woman whose son Elisha had
raised. Then the king sent a eunuch to work for that woman and all that you own has been
repaid. So why insist on this concern in his heart to speak his mind which can not, is lying,
doubt your doubts, GOD has the right time and maybe not today? Seize the moment and talk
to the King the solution comes when we talk to HIM.
