Philippians 4:1-9
1
Therefore, my beloved and longing brothers, my joy and crown, stand firm in the LORD, beloved.
2 I beseech Euodia, and I beseech Syntyche, that they may feel the same in the LORD.
3 And I also ask you, my true companion, to help them, because they worked with me in the Gospel, and with Clement, and with the other co-workers of mine, whose names are in the book of life.
4 Rejoice in the LORD always; Again I say, rejoice.
5 Let your moderation be known to all men. The LORD is near.
6 Do not be anxious about anything; rather in everything let your requests be made known before GOD by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving;
7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in CHRIST JESUS.
8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about it.
9 What you also learned, and received, and heard, and saw in me, do that; and the GOD of peace will be with you.
Do you still have doubts about the insanity of this world?
Right is wrong and wrong is right.
Isaiah 5:20 says, “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil.”
For you and me, it wasn't supposed to be this way. We should always differentiate right from wrong.
Does our GOD teach us and why do we have difficulty practicing His teachings? We should rejoice in doing what HE asks us to do.
Keep your mind on GOD all the time and you will be someone with a healthy mind. You will be someone with spiritual sanity. Philippians 4:1 says:
Therefore, my beloved and longing brothers, my joy and crown, remain firm in the LORD, beloved.
How can you stand firm in JESUS? Do what 1 Corinthians 15:58 says:
Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast and steadfast, always abounding in the work of the LORD, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the LORD.
Let's work for the LORD, but we must never forget to take care of others. Let us rejoice in the LORD. Philippians 4:4 says: Rejoice in the LORD always again I say, rejoice.
What this means: That we should always trust our GOD. In Psalm 118:8 it says: It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man. We must trust HIM because HE always keeps His promises.
Seek to live in peace with everyone. Hebrews 12:4 says: Pursue peace with all, and holiness, without which no one will see the LORD,
Treat everyone with kindness and those lives will be able to see JESUS in you.
If you want to have a healthy mind, don't worry all the time. You may be worried about something with your or a family member's surgery. The problem is that you let this worry take away your trust in GOD.
To keep your mind healthy? Be happy. Philippians 4:7 says: and the peace of GOD, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in CHRIST JESUS. This peace will bring joy to your heart.
Replace all sadness with the joy that you are a child of GOD and that you are going to heaven. Keep your mind full of good thoughts. Philippians 4:8 says: Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, If there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about it.
Practice what you have learned!
The truth is that the world is crazy, crazy around us. Let us not forget that the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 1: 25: For the foolishness of GOD is wiser than men; and the weakness of GOD is stronger than men.
Will we have to be crazy at some point? That's the question.
