Your Christian life is important and therefore you cannot develop it in any way. There is a need to do all things wisely in the walk of faith.
Do you want to be wise in your Christian life? You will find very clear guidelines on how to be a wise person.
Today we will explore five steps to learn how to apply wisdom in our lives.
Think that having wisdom is not just having full knowledge, but how to apply it to daily Christian life.
1. Step: Wisdom
Ask GOD for wisdom (James 1:5) Let's start with our beloved Apostle James saying: Now if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives liberally to all and does not blame, and it will be done to him. given.
Wisdom – a heavenly gift that our GOD wants to give us. When we face challenges, we have difficult decisions to make, we must seek GOD's guidance, as this is a crucial way to act and get everything right with this wonderful gift that is wisdom.
2. Step: Always search the Word
The Word of GOD makes us wise for salvation (2 Timothy 3:15): and that from childhood you know the sacred writings, which can make you wise for salvation, through the faith that is in CHRIST JESUS. What a bless! Holy Scripture empowers us for salvation. What a wonderful source of wisdom the Word of GOD is. Be sure to study the Bible with great diligence and faith, thus also bringing salvation to others.
3. Step: Prudence
Let us be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16): Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; Therefore, be wise as serpents and simple as doves. How are you facing this world? Ask GOD for wisdom on how you should act, how to acquire prudence to behave with this co-worker who wants to take your place, wants to destroy your reputation in the company simply out of envy. This neighbor who constantly invents lies against you (gossip) or even this family member who acts dishonestly against you. Ask the FATHER for wisdom and he will give you wisdom and you will conduct yourself with prudence. Know when to speak and when to remain silent at the right times. In relation to the world be like a serpent. But in our conduct we must act like the dove in simplicity. May there be in us the purity and peace of the Gospel. With divine wisdom you will act correctly with love and respect.
4. Step: Construction
Be a wise builder full of wisdom (Matthew 7:24,25; 1 Corinthians 3:11):
Matthew 7
24 Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and does them will be likened to a wise man who built his house on the rock.
25 And the rain came down, the torrents came, and the winds blew, and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it was founded on the rock.
1 Corinthians 3
11 For no one can lay any other foundation than that which is already laid, which is JESUS CHRIST.
JESUS tells this parable of the house built on the rock. So, HE is saying something right now. Let us build on the firm foundation of the Word of GOD and also obey HIM completely. In the text of 1 Corinthians, Paul makes it very clear that the LORD JESUS is the Only and True Foundation on which we must build and establish our lives. So, my brothers, let us build on the Word of GOD, on the Rock that is CHRIST and we will live a life with wisdom that will infect many.
5. Step: Win souls
Win souls, be wise! (Proverbs 11:30): The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he who wins souls is wise. What is the biggest and best demonstration that you are wise? When you share the Gospel, the hope we have in CHRIST JESUS. This is your biggest decision that will impact you for eternity. You need to live one day at a time and differently. Let wisdom play a very important role in your daily journey in everything you have to make a decision. Seek this wisdom through faith, prayer, and study of the Scriptures. This way you will have discernment. Continue building your life on the wonderful foundation that is CHRIST. Let us share the Gospel and let us not forget that wisdom is a great gift that comes from GOD to transform our lives and glorify His Holy Name.
