Joseph's Prosperity: Lessons of success and overcoming in 03 steps (Genesis 39:2) 2 And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his Egyptian master. Let's learn from Joseph's prosperity in this study. What does it mean to be prosperous? -Be successful and feel fulfilled and satisfied in all areas of life. It is for you to form, within your choices, abundances in all aspects. Prosperity comes from the Latin prosper or prosperus and means: doing well, happy. Prosperity can be achieved in various areas of life such as: relationships, emotional balance, intellectual growth, finances, in fact in everything. José's Prosperity: Lessons in Success and Overcoming Let's see how the story of Joseph teaches the paths to true prosperity. Let's see his secrets to this prosperity. Strategies, José's journey of prosperity. Ultimately, the guide to overcoming challenges and winning in life. In the Word of GOD, prosperity and success do not just refer to how much money you have or don't have. GOD referred to Joseph as a successful man, even though he was a slave in Potiphar's house. Genesis 39:1-5 1 And Joseph was taken into Egypt, and Potiphar, Pharaoh's officer, captain of the guard, an Egyptian man, bought him from the hand of the Ishmaelites who had taken him there. 2 And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his Egyptian master. 3 When his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that everything that the LORD did prospered in his hand, 4 Joseph found grace in his eyes, and served him; and he set him over his house, and gave all that he had into his hand. 5 And it came to pass, since he had set him over his house and over all that he had, that the LORD blessed the house of the Egyptian for Joseph's sake; and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had, in the house and in the field. Let's see the 03 steps 1st Step: Joseph was prosperous because he was faithful to GOD Genesis 39:2 says: 2 And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his Egyptian master. Even in a slave situation, he thrived. No matter what the circumstances, José was José. He was who he was. He didn't change. He was prosperous because of his loyalty to his lord (boss) and to GOD. In fact, he was faithful in everything and to everyone because he was faithful to His GOD. You can be a prosperous person regardless of your circumstances. Joseph was without his family, without his home, but he had something that no one could take away from him, GOD. We know that he certainly did not like the circumstances that surrounded him, but these circumstances did not prevent him from being prosperous. Nothing can stop your prosperity if you have the LORD. Our GOD will always give us enough. Yes, GOD allows difficult circumstances, but he uses them all for a wonderful purpose. 2nd Step: There is a special result due to true prosperity. It's love. When he got out of prison, what did he do? He became governor of the greatest power of the time and did not act against those who did him harm, on the contrary, he blessed them. What do we also learn from Joseph and his story? That prosperity is not just about receiving blessings, but certainly being a channel of blessings from everyone around us. When we recognize what we have received from the hands of the LORD, we certainly extend our hand to others, blessing them with joy. Step 3: There is a source of Joseph's prosperity to be learned. Joseph's prosperity was not based on his skill or cunning. So what is the true source? The presence of GOD! The Bible says that GOD was with him in everything he did. How not to prosper? Joseph had the best prosperity of all, which was the presence of GOD. With this presence he had: inner peace (which many lack); integrity, fidelity. The focus should be off material things. It is better to keep your soul safe than to lose it. The rich young man kept his wealth and certainly lost his soul. The focus must be on what we cannot see, but which is eternal.Prepare for eternity!
