Make the right decision

My YouTube channel

Always reflect on how to decide between what is good and what is bad. Discover how to make the right decision. When we look back we can remember decisions we made and how we would like to go back and change everything, right? But we can't do that. We can make decisions based on:
• Ignorance
• Indifference
• Rebellion, or even based on stubbornness. And now, what to do? You made a wrong decision and only later realized your big mistake, so what should you do? Even if you have made terrible decisions, you can still turn to Divine Providence to show you how to correct them. Let's see good, bad choices and their consequences within the Bible.
1. Lot, Abraham's nephew. He made a choice based on material advantages. What a sad decision. Choosing only thinking about material benefits, and not even worrying about the spiritual and moral implications of that place. Genesis 13:1-11, be reading the quoted text. He was close to Sodom at first, but he ends up living there and what did Lot achieve with this choice thinking only about material advantages? Suffering for you and your family. Did he regret that decision? 2 Peter 2:6-8 says: 6 if, having reduced the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to ashes, he condemned them to destruction, having made them an example to those who lived impiously; 7 and saved righteous Lot, troubled by the dissolute life of those wicked 8 (For this righteous man, dwelling among them, by seeing and hearing, afflicted his righteous soul every day with their unrighteous works). This text leads us to think: did Lot ever regret this decision?
2. Great leaders of Israel hid their faith in JESUS out of fear. Some believed in JESUS, but decided not to confess Him publicly for fear of persecution, they feared rejection. John 12:42,43 says: 42 However, many among the authorities themselves believed in HIM; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, so as not to be expelled from the synagogue; 43 because they loved the glory of men more than the glory of GOD. JESUS warned, admonishing that in truth those who denied Him before men would also be denied by HIM before the FATHER. Matthew 10:32,33 says: 32 Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven. 33 But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven. Did these Jewish leaders repent? And have we ever done something like this? Have we given in to the pressures of society; from colleagues, family or other influences? 3. Moses- chose to obey GOD. A man with many privileges in Egypt, but he chose to be different. He chose to identify with his Hebrew people and suffer with them instead of living a regal life full of worldly pleasures. Hebrews 11:24-27 says: 24 By faith Moses, when he was now a man, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter, 25 choosing rather to be mistreated with the people of GOD than to enjoy sin for a while, 26 counting the reproach of CHRIST as greater riches than the treasures of Egypt; because he had in view the reward. 27 By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king's wrath; for he stood firm, as if seeing the invisible. How many decisions made! Never regret choosing to serve, to follow GOD, even if you suffer implications for the choice.
4. Paul- chooses to renounce everything for CHRIST. Another tremendous example. Paul was powerful, respected in the religious position he occupied. Not just religious, more religious and social, but what did he do? He renounced everything for the love of CHRIST. Philippians 3:8 says: 8 yea, indeed, I also count all things as loss for the excellency of the knowledge of CHRIST JESUS my LORD; for which I have suffered the loss of all these things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain CHRIST. Did Paul regret this decision he made? What did he find? Peace, joy, satisfaction in following GOD's will, even in the face of adversity. JESUS CALLS YOU TO MAKE A DECISION Matthew 7:13,14 says: 13 Enter through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate, and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it; 14 and because the gate is narrow, and the way that leads to life is narrow, and there are few who find it. Matthew 7:24 and 26 says: 24 Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and does them will be likened to a wise man who built his house on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not do them will be likened to a foolish man who built his house on the sand. You, Christian man, you, Christian woman, there are many good decisions to be made to follow the teachings of faith and thus live a blessed life. Seek to know GOD's will for any and all situations through prayer and reading and meditation on the Word of GOD.
• Always be honest and truthful in your relationships
• Choose to help and serve those most in need
• Control your tongue and do not speak ill of others, use your mouth to bless.
• Forgive everyone and embrace reconciliation. • Always invest in healthy relationships with family, brothers in CHRIST, friends, with everyone. Suddenly you can say: yes, my sister, but I am living in a very difficult situation and I don't know what decision to make and the sister didn't mention this problem. I say to you now: pray, read the Bible while meditating on it. Do you think our GOD will not give you the right guidance? HE is the most interested in this happening. You saw during the topic discussed here that people made decisions. Jewish leaders were afraid to confess that they believed in JESUS out of fear. Others denied Him out of fear. But you saw Moses and Paul making the decision to serve GOD in everything, not caring about the consequences. • Go and do the same. Don't please your flesh, please GOD. Did you understand? Here is the answer for you. So how to make the right decision? Observing what your choice will result in.
With love in Christ,
