The Baptism

Let's see first what baptism is. Baptism is a divine ordinance. What does an ordinance mean? Order, arrangement, organization, distribution, arrangement, arrangement, arrangement, arrangement, scheme, structure, structuring, method, methodology, position, size, composition, configuration, placement, formation, system, hierarchy, discipline, coordination, repair, mode, way, classification, system. Ordinance we can understand the breadth of this word and its meanings. So baptism is an ordinance, but most importantly, don't forget it is divine, it comes from GOD. THE LORD JESUS instituted it when He said to His disciples in Matthew 28:19,20 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the FATHER, and of the SON, and of the HOLY SPIRIT; teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you”...THE LORD JESUS further concludes by saying; “and behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” We can see then that baptism is of paramount importance in the lives of all those who follow JESUS. Being baptized is not an option for those who serve JESUS, it is a Commandment. We can see that JESUS himself left us an example. HE was baptized by John the Baptist. Batista was not a surname of John, but it means the one who baptizes. Matthew 3:13 says, “Then JESUS came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him.” It is through baptism that everyone sees in us what kind of faith we have and we also discover this faith ourselves. Mark 16:15,16 says: 15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; but whoever does not believe will be condemned. In the Old Testament, man obeyed circumcision, but today this is symbolized by baptism, it is the circumcision of the heart, obedience to the ordinances of CHRIST. Baptism does not save, but it accompanies salvation. A person is not saved by not being baptized, but by not believing. Baptism is also so important because it identifies us with CHRIST. It is also a public testimony of our faith. But, it goes further. It identifies us with HIM in the likeness of His death and burial, as well as His resurrection. With this act we must understand that we are not saved by works, but by grace, through faith and we take possession of it. In 1 Timothy 6:12 it says: “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on the eternal life to which you were called, having made a good confession before many witnesses.” (At this moment, my friend, take possession of this eternal life that CHRIST with His guidance brought us). Who can be baptized? Everyone who identifies with JESUS, with His sacrifice on the cross. Yes, with this act of baptism, we understand that we are not saved by works, but by grace. Philip and the eunuch in Acts 8:26-38 (Read this passage in your Bible, don't miss this opportunity). At the moment of baptism you will be like CHRIST, there will be similarity with death and resurrection. You will be dead to the world, to sin. The moment a person descends into the waters of baptism symbolizes their burial and when they are raised from the waters their resurrection to live a new life in CHRIST JESUS. This is a life that even without you saying anything, everyone will see that you had a true encounter with GOD. What you did wrong from now on will no longer continue to do. However, that doesn't mean it will be perfect. Everyone makes mistakes, but you will do everything not to sin and if at any point you sin, the HOLY SPIRIT will speak to your heart and there will certainly be repentance. Run quickly to the feet of JESUS and ask Him for forgiveness and be sure that HE will forgive you. No matter how many times Baptism Let's see first what baptism is. Baptism is a divine ordinance. It doesn't matter how many times you make mistakes, you just can't play around putting your salvation at stake, you know? If you are serving JESUS, you are in a church and you have not yet made the decision to baptize, now is the time, nothing stops you. If you are in a congregation and, for example, you live with a person without being married and of course this is wrong, however, when you went to JESUS you were already in this condition, you can, yes, receive baptism in the case of the person with the If you don't want to regularize the situation, it's not your fault. Look for a church that understands this and go in prayer to also seek the salvation of that person in prayer, on your knees crying out for them and the same JESUS who saved you will do the same in this life. Keep GOD praying for you. You just can't make mistakes by putting your salvation at stake, you know?
