May the peace of the LORD be with you, dear brothers and sisters! Today, I invite each of you to pause for a moment and reflect deeply on the power that words have in our lives. Often, we let what we speak and think trap us in a cycle of insecurity, fear, and doubt. The Bible teaches us something incredible about how the word of GOD can transform and set us free, and that is what we will talk about today. The theme of our reflection is "The Word That Sets Free: Believe No More, Change Definitely!". Have you grown tired of living in doubt, insecurity, or even the pressure of not being what you truly desire to be? The Bible teaches us that transformation begins when we understand that our words have power. "I don't believe anymore" must be replaced by "I believe in the impossible." JESUS showed us that when we decide to change, our lives also change through the power of His grace. Now is the time to stop talking too much and act with faith in a true, deep, and lasting way. In CHRIST, change is definitive. Shall we go together? Because HE can change any story, including yours! Are you tired of living in doubt, fear, and insecurity? Transformation begins when we understand the power of the word. "I don't believe anymore" needs to be replaced by "I believe in the impossible." In CHRIST, change is not temporary; it is definitive! Discover how to renew your mind, speak words of faith, and live a life full of the transforming power of GOD. No more words of defeat, but a living and active faith that opens doors to your true freedom. The Power of the Word of GOD can set you free and transform your life now! But what does it mean to truly change? How can we really experience this change? Let us understand, based on the Scriptures, how the word—when transformed—can lead us to a renewed and empowered life. 1. The Power of Words In Proverbs 18:21, we find a powerful phrase: "Death and life are in the power of the tongue; and those who love it will eat its fruit." Here, we see that the words we use have immense power. They can bring us life or imprison us in death. The Christian life is not just about what we say to others, but also about what we say to ourselves. Biblical Example: The Power of Declaring Faith Remember how JESUS healed the blind men. In Matthew 9:27-29, HE asked: "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" And the blind men replied: "Yes, LORD!" Then JESUS touched their eyes and said: "According to your faith let it be done to you!" What can we learn here? JESUS did not perform the healing because the blind men were perfect or had unshakable faith. HE healed them because they declared with their words: "Yes, LORD, we believe!" Their words were a reflection of the faith that was in their hearts. Similarly, many times in our Christian walk, we limit ourselves by the words we speak. How many times have you caught yourself saying: "I am not capable..." or "I can't..."? These words have the power to keep you in the same situation, trapping you in fear and doubt. The key to change is replacing "I don't believe" with "I believe." And when we do this, our life begins to change. 2. Transformation Begins Within You Romans 12:2 tells us: "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." Transformation begins with the renewal of our mind. And this is only possible when we stop speaking negatively, when we stop doubting what GOD can do in our lives. JESUS did not come to keep us where we are; HE came to transform us. But this transformation is not just external; it begins inside us. When we say "I don't believe," we are tying our minds to the impossible. But when we say "I believe in the impossible" and begin to act with faith, our mind is renewed. This leads us to live a different reality—a reality of power and victory. Example of Change: Blind Bartimaeus In Marcus 10:46-52, we find the story of Bartimaeus, a blind man who cried out for JESUS despite being rebuked by the people around him. He did not stay silent, and his faith was transformative. When JESUS called him, HE asked: "What do you want me to do for you?" And Bartimaeus replied: "Rabboni, I want to see!" JESUS then said: "Go, your faith has healed you." Bartimaeus did not just believe that JESUS could heal him; he spoke it with conviction. He did not settle for his condition; he took an action of faith. The message for us here is clear: The transformation you desire so much begins with the decision to declare that you believe in what GOD can do. Change will not be external first, but internal. 3. Change Definitely The word of GOD tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:17: "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" This is the truth that needs to be engraved in your heart: in CHRIST, change is definitive. It doesn't matter where you were before, it doesn't matter the mistakes you made or the difficulties you faced. When you decide to make the choice to believe and live the Word of GOD, something new manifests in you. Leave behind the mentality that nothing can change. Leave behind the "I don't believe" and start living the "I believe in the impossible!" Step for change: Start today. A declaration of faith is not something you do just once; it is a daily choice. The word of GOD says that our faith is fed by the word of CHRIST (Romans 10:17). Therefore, fill your mind with divine truth and start speaking in agreement with it.
Conclusion I know that many of us, throughout life, have gone through difficult times. Perhaps you are wondering at this moment: "But what if I’ve tried to change before and failed?" The answer is simple: GOD is the GOD of second chances. HE does not give up on you. HE is ready to act in your life just as HE did with so many people in the Bible. Change, when we trust in GOD, is definitive. In CHRIST, there is no turning back. The Word that sets free is the Word of faith. Today, I invite you to make a choice: change definitely. Stop believing in doubt, fear, and the lies of the enemy. Start declaring what GOD says about you. I invite you now to close your eyes and say this prayer with me: Prayer of Faith: "LORD, today I surrender my words and my thoughts to You. I believe that in CHRIST, I am a new creation. I will no longer limit myself to what I think is possible. Today, I declare: I believe in the impossible! Change my life, LORD, according to Your will. Transform me by the renewal of my mind. In JESUS' name, amen." Now, brothers and sisters, let us move forward with this renewed faith. The power of GOD is with you. Change definitely!
