Theme: Faith must be your strength, my brother. Objective: To encourage men and women of GOD to have a life lived by faith in CHRIST. Hebrews 10:28 says: “But my righteous one will live by faith; and if he retreats, my soul has no pleasure in him.” Introduction: Your life has a reason in this world. Some live according to a profession, a dream, fame, saving wealth and so on. What drives your life? That will be your priority. This will shape your will and also your character, have you thought about this? If this is your reason for living, it is certainly something fallible and frustration will come into your life as a result sooner or later. What is living by faith? It is full and constant trust in GOD. Without this trust you will not be able to live well. The Bible will show the need to have this daily living in faith. Unlike what the world teaches, don't get attached to human guarantees. Don't depend on things, or people, for your own strength, health, intelligence. Why? Because sooner or later you might find yourself without any of that. Everything that GOD has given us, such as our abilities, can indeed be used to advance and achieve various things in life, but if one of these things is missing or suddenly all of them? Remember Job? What kept you going? GOD alone, GOD alone. You need to believe in HIM with all your strength, but for that, you need to have a daily life with HIM. The just will live by faith! Faith will keep you standing even when it seems like the ground is not beneath your feet. Think about Abraham, Noah, Job and all the servants of the LORD that the Bible reports. Job said in Job 19:25, “For I know that my Redeemer lives, and that at last he will stand on the earth.” Only those who have a daily life with GOD can say something like that in the midst of so much suffering. Conclusion Living by faith is renouncing other means not based on trust in the Word of CHRIST to live solely by faith.
