Honesty vs Dishonesty
Live in honesty always Honesty: quality or character of being honest, attribute of what shows probity, honesty, according to certain socially valid moral precepts. Characteristic of what is decent, what is pure and morally irreproachable; chastity. DISONESTITY: act, said, that violates morals or offends modesty Lack of probity in dealing with someone else's business. Honest: Person who acts correctly, even against his or her own interests; who acts with scruples, with decency, with honor; who is able to be loyal to others even without being watched. Dishonest: Adjective: Lacking or showing honesty; that intends to deceive (deceive); insincere or deceitful. Devoid of decency; without honor; lack of decorum. Who does not show honesty in the treatment of what does not belong to him; treacherous and disloyal. We know well how God loves those who are honest, who always tell the truth. Our GOD has this essence in His character and He wants us to have it too. First, we must be faithful, honest with God himself. By giving your heart to HIM you, we, must be honest without ever betraying HIM. Being honest with GOD is certainly being honest with your superiors as well as with your subordinates. It is to be honest, abstaining from impurity both in words and in actions towards God and men. If you act otherwise you are playing with God. If you seek the true path of truth, you will please Him. If you are always giving worthless excuses and justifications, you are certainly resisting to put the truth into practice, don't do it anymore resist your nature contrary to the will of God. If you work diligently even anonymously in the House of GOD without ever expecting others to see and recognize you, you are not far from that honest character, always doing your best, I mean you are not far from being a loyal saint in the presence of the FATHER. If you my brother and sister if you are totally willing to be that sincere person if you understand that it's only up to you, because we can see people who are not inside a church and who act with honesty. Give your all, sacrifice yourself for GOD so that your life is a true witness before all men. Then you will be a person living in the Kingdom of Heaven, otherwise you will definitely be outside of that Kingdom. What happens to a dishonest person? The dishonest person does the totally wrong thing and swears he did the right thing. In addition to your lie, comes the action that will surely directly harm the person involved. Today it is very difficult to maintain character, dishonesty is everywhere and one who practices honesty suffers all the time, but I say: it is worth being honest. Honest people say what they do and do what they say. These people do not manipulate situations or anyone. They don't manipulate reality. These people don't lie or use half-truths. The next time you are tempted to act dishonestly because you are pressured by a difficult situation, don't do it. Below you will find verses about honesty and also about dishonesty. HONESTY: Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, but those who do the truth are His delight. Prov 12:22 Better is the poor that walks in sincerity, than he that is perverse of lips and a fool. Prov 19:1 He who walks uprightly will be saved. Sweet is the bread of a lie to man; but then his mouth is filled with pebbles. Prov 20:17 Deceitful weights are an abomination to the LORD; and deceitful scales are not good. Prov 20:23 A mallet and a sword and a sharp arrow is a man who bears false witness against his neighbor. Prov 2:18 I know that you desire the truth in your heart, and teach me wisdom in your heart. Ps 51:6 To lay up treasures with a false tongue is fleeting vanity; those who seek them, seek death. Prov 21:6 For our exhortation does not come from error, nor from uncleanness, nor is it made with guile; 1 Thes 2:3 The LORD rejects dishonest scales, but accurate weights give him pleasure. Prov 11:1 The wicked are entangled in their sinful speech, but the righteous do not fall into these difficulties. From the fruit of his mouth man benefits, and the work of his hands will be rewarded. Prov 12: 13,14 PRAYER My beloved and dear FATHER! In this instant, we come before You humbly. We ask You for forgiveness for our sins and being forgiven now, we want to ask You to help us to always practice Your will in our lives. If your servant failed at some point in his life and practiced dishonesty, today he is repentant and says that from now on it will only be honesty that will guide his actions. From now on only honesty always, even in difficult moments when he is tempted to be dishonest he will act with honesty even if he is seen as crazy. Your servants do not want to please the world and displease the LORD. If at any time we fail, today we are sorry we seek a different path. Look Father at Your servants who only want to do Your will. Between honesty and dishonesty they want to stay with honesty, hallelujah! So be it always in our lives in Jesus name, amen.
